A Studio membership gives you an opportunity to get involved with a fun and welcoming community of artists. We not only enjoy each other’s company we challenge and encourage creativity and learn from each other’s strengths.

Our Glaze & Firing Membership may be the right fit.
Want full access to the studio and equipment?
Choose a 1-Month, 3-Month, or 6-Month Studio Membership based on how long you'll be working with us.
Best for: Local, seasonal, and visiting potters who want full studio access, a lower monthly rate, and time to become part of our studio community.
Includes:
Studio access 8 a.m.–9 p.m., 7 days a week
Personal front-door and alarm code
Access to studio equipment after orientation
Use of the cone 6 glaze studio
Bisque firing included
10% discount on classes & workshops
1 clay/personal tool cubby
1 drying shelf
Fees & Requirements:
Glaze firing — $0.04 per square inch
Cash/check discount: $200/month
Paid by cash or check by the 26th of each month.
Membership term: Three consecutive months. After the initial three-month term, membership automatically continues month-to-month unless an end date was established when joining or notice is given at least 10 days before the renewal date.
6-Month Studio Membership $182/month
3-Month Studio Membership — $208/Month
Fees & Requirements:
Glaze firing — $0.03 per square inch
Cash/check discount: $175/month
Paid by cash or check by the 26th of each month
Membership term: Six consecutive months. After the initial six-month term, membership automatically continues month-to-month unless an end date was established when joining or notice is given at least 10 days before the renewal date
Important Information for Studio Members
Clay must be purchased from Hilton Head Pottery — $50 per 25 lb. bag of cone 6 clay
Bisque firing is included
Underglazes are available for an additional charge
Use of the kiln fire scheduling system with a credit card on file is required
New members must complete a studio orientation
Studio members must have sufficient pottery experience to work independently. Potters who are still developing those skills may qualify for membership while enrolled in an appropriate Hilton Head Pottery class.
Glaze & Firing Membership $48/month
Best for: Potters with their own workspace who need access to professional firing and studio glazes.
Includes:
Bisque firing
Access to Hilton Head Pottery cone 6 studio glazes
Weekday studio access from 10 a.m.–4 p.m. for glazing and firing-related use

Clay must be purchased from Hilton Head Pottery — $50 per 25 lb. bag of cone 6 clay

Best for: Local and visiting potters who want full studio access without a long-term commitment.

Studio access 8 a.m.–9 p.m., 7 days a week

1 drying shelf
Fees & Requirements:
Glaze firing — $0.05 per square inch
Cash/check discount: $225
Paid by cash or check by the 25th of the prior month.
A 1-Month Studio Membership can begin on any day of the Month and runs for 30 days.
Membership Rules:
Studio members must be 18 years of age or older.
Members are expected to work independently and clean their work area and equipment thoroughly after use.
When classes are in session, classes have priority for wheels, worktables, and equipment.
The studio may occasionally close for workshops or special events.
